Le Mans-winning tech makes the Panamera one of the fastest plug-ins on sale

The second-generation Panamera hybrid has taken advantage of the technology used by Porsche to win the Le Mand 24 Hours, and delivers more performance than your average plug-in model.

That's because there are now two E-Hybrid models in the range: the standard model or the Turbo, which packs a whopping 671bhp. That makes it the second most powerful production Porsche ever, after the hybrid 918 Spyder hypercar. That means this is a 2.8-tonne four-wheel-drive four-seater that can sprint from 0-62mph in 3.4 seconds, has a top speed of 192mph, and yet has 66g/km emissions.

The Panamera Mk2 is a far better looking machine than its predecessor, too, and as before, these hybrid variants are marked out by lime green brake calipers and lime highlights for the badges.
